Ramon Cardenas is a pragmatic technology executive focused on enabling Fortune 100 companies with their business and technology transformations, both domestically and internationally. After spending years in leadership roles in the telecommunication industry, Ramon headed to the Silicon Valley in leadership roles. After living 20+ years in San Francisco and working for exciting product companies like Salesforce, Oracle, SAP and Microsoft, Ramon now resides in Monument, CO, while working remotely for Accenture, a worldwide consulting company.

Ramon grew up in Aurora, CO, well before the current social challenges set in. That coupled with his firsthand experience with similar issues on the streets of San Francisco, CA, provides a clear line of sight to the growing need for support as well as tight alignment to the vision and mission of Wholly Kicks. Ramon spent many hours volunteering at GLIDE San Francisco to charter schools on the free lunch program, to San Francisco’s Mayor Gavin Newsom’s Care Not Cash program and plans on bringing those experiences to the team.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”80px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1602″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1609825561661{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Kristin Zick | Vice Chair

Kristin experienced a shift in her perspective on homelessness after one-on-one interactions with individuals experiencing homelessness.  She realized that there was a more than just driving past but that there could be meaningful, two-way, ongoing relationships between the housed and unhoused communities.  She joined Wholly Kicks due to her desire to make a difference.  For Kristin, that meant helping to encourage and establish the Executive Director, Tyg Taylor, to bring his vision to life and then she joined Wholly Kicks as the VIce Chairman of the Board.

Early in life, Kristin dreamed of joining the Peace Corps and received an MBA in International Relations.  However, she moved to Colorado for the mountains and started a very rewarding career with Lockheed Martin as a Business Developer and Program Manager.  In 2018, following her desire to be more entrepreneurial and have a larger impact within the organization, she moved to a new role.  She is the Vice President of Programs at the Denver-based, Zivaro Inc.  Outside of work, Kristin spends with her three boys, at hockey rinks, basketball courts, and enjoying the outdoors as much as possible.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”80px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1596″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1609799266247{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Diane Gorder | Secretary

Diane is passionate about service, education, and walking with people in their journeys.  She also serves as a board member for the Kiberia Girls Soccer Academy Foundation.  KGSA provides free high school and college scholarships for girls living in Kibera, Kenya, as a driver for change in one of the world’s largest slums.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”80px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row equal_height=”yes” content_placement=”middle”][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”1607″ img_size=”full” css=”.vc_custom_1611826503697{padding-bottom: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text]Sean Ross | Treasurer

From a young age Sean fell in love with helping others through mission trips and volunteer events, and was naturally drawn to the mission of Wholly Kicks and the efforts Tyg puts into improving the lives of those facing economic disparity. After graduating from Colorado State University with a BA in economics and additional focus in business administration, Sean quickly looked for opportunities both in his professional and personal life to effect change in others’ lives. As a professional he currently works at Charles Schwab as a Senior Team Manager in their Equity Compensation group leading a number of operations and relationship management team members, and finds ways to impact others through Schwab’s community programs.

Sean brings value to the community outside of his professional career by acting as Treasurer for Wholly Kicks. Sean has applied his skillset from his bachelors in economics and six years in the finance industry to collaborate with Tyg and the board of directors to grow the Wholly Kicks mission financially through fundraising, accurate financial reporting and accounting, and marketing communications. He has been a part of the Wholly Kicks board of directors since its founding in 2019, acting as Treasurer for the duration.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”80px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
